INDIVO Anchors South Shore Anglers Online with new responsive website

A significant upgrade, it is fully responsive, contains resources anglers need, and online registration for tournaments.

Late in 2015, the leadership of the South Shore Anglers decided that the old website needed a face lift and enlisted the help of INDIVO. “Working with INDIVO is the simplest thing we’ve done to market our business,” said Stephen Hoffman, South Shore Anglers Event Chairman. “The INDIVO team examined our website, compared it to similar organizations and gave detailed recommendations of what we should do to improve value to our members and sponsors.”

The new website is a significant upgrade from the old website in that it is fully responsive (providing an optimal user experience across phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers), has important resources anglers need like tides, weather, and wind, fishing reports from local captains (coming soon), along with a new cart system. For now, the cart system will allow members to register and pay for tournaments, but soon the club expects to add merchandise for sale as well.

Aside from the camaraderie of other people who like to fish, the South Shore Anglers do a lot of good in the Tampa Bay Area for local charities and to help keep the waterways and shore areas around the bay pristine. Each year, South Shore Anglers holds two tournaments and two events, contributing an average of $10,000 a year to local causes. The next tournament is September 24 2016, the 2016 Robbie Armstrong Longest Redfish Tournament. The proceeds from this event will go toward helping Jim Plastic, a Tampa legend, pay his medical bills. Jim suffered serious injuries recently when he was involved in a car accident on his way to the local boat ramp.

With the new website, SSA’s sponsors will get more bang for their buck and anglers will get the latest news and information.

Much of what SSA does, would not be possible without the support of its’ sponsors. There still are sponsorships available for the club, as well as for individual tournaments.

“With the new website, SSA’s sponsors will get more bang for their buck and anglers will get the latest news and information to help with when, where and best techniques for fishing; best deals on gear and info about upcoming events and seminars. Included with the new website was a lesson in updating the website content and how up-to-the-minute posts on SSA Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts will give consumers a reason to revisit the site. Driving SSA’s footprint toward a more regional business approach, Tiger and I can’t wait to see the positive results,” Mr. Hoffman concluded.
