United Outreach Reaches Out to INDIVO for Recruitment Marketing

For almost 10 years, United Outreach has been providing unique, part-time employment opportunities to registered physical and occupational therapists in Florida interested in augmenting their income. When the owners became interested in bringing their homecare service to more patients across Florida, they looked to INDIVO for assistance in developing a state-wide recruitment campaign.

Targeted campaign to registered therapists

To help reach registered physical therapists and occupational therapists throughout Florida, INDiVO devised an integrated campaign to help increase awareness about the company, as well as make it easy for the therapists to join the group.

“We have a different type of business model that required a different strategic and creative approach,” said Allen Forrest, of United Outreach. “United Outreach isn’t asking therapists to leave their current homecare jobs. Instead we give them the opportunity to earn extra money by continuing to treat their patients under Medicare Part B. Patients become eligible for Part B benefits after their Part A benefits, usually provided for by the therapists ‘day job’, expire.”

UNITED OUTREACH AND LEAD CAPTURE

The program consists of a series of snail mail self-mailers, unique landing pages and email blasts, all targeted at registered physical and occupational therapists, licensed in Florida and already working in homecare. From the landing page, the therapist can easily get their questions answered or join the practice. Analytics have also been added to the landing page so that the client can monitor how many visitors see the page, whether they are new or returning visitors, how they found the page, what content they reviewed, how long each visitor stays on the page, and more.

“Therapists like working with us because we give the therapists the option of helping their patients achieve their full potential for recovery, sometimes not attainable under the number of visits authorized under Part A,” says Mike Rubin of United Outreach. “Plus, using our web-based documentation system, it’s much easier for them to complete and file the requisite paperwork so they can get paid. At $60 – $80 per visit, that can be a nice supplemental income to help pay off bills or save money for the future.”

Al Buscaino, EVP, Strategic Services at INDIVO said, “I had a family member suffer impairment from strokes and it was consistently a challenge getting to outpatient therapy. Though the family member was living outside of Florida, it would have been much easier for my wife and me to have a resource like United Outreach that we could have called upon. INDiVO appreciates the chance to help the United Outreach team bring this much needed service to more families across Florida.”
